Food Kitchen & Health Care Ministries
Old Mission serves many food kitchens across the Kansas City Metro including Cross Lines and Johnson County Food Ministry. We also donate non-perishable food items, toiletries, and monetary funding for gas and groceries through Shawnee Community Services and the Northeast Multi-service Center. Funds are also given to Care Beyond the Boulevard, a non-profit that provides quality medical health care to the homeless of Kansas City.
Roesland Elementary Food Donations
Roesland Elementary school has decided to change their “Little Free Library” into a Food Pantry for those who need help in feeding their kids in these uncertain times. Old Mission will be partnering with them to help fill the box.
We are asking our congregation to bring nonperishable food items to the church and place them in the plastic bins just outside the office doors. Office staff will take the food over to Roesland Elementary as needed.
