There are many opportunities throughout the year to serve our local community and the church abroad. Whether it be through Food kitchen ministries, mission trips, or Old Mission’s signature service day: Living 6:8 there’s something for everyone!
Making people feel welcome is so important to Old Mission. This could mean serving at the Connect table or stocking the coffee bar. There are many opportunities to help out.
Do you sing or play an instrument? Perhaps you’d enjoy being a scripture reader or leading a kid’s choir. From orchestra to ushers we have something for everyone.
Do you have gifts in creativity or storytelling? if so, consider serving as a Sunday school teacher, a Vacation Bible School helper, or an event planner!
Do you have energy to spare and a heart for youth? Then consider leading classes for youth, helping with events, or serving on Youth Council.
Do you enjoy planning outreach or fellowship events? Maybe you’d like to host a life group at your home? Click the image for more information.
Visiting those that are home bound, in hospital, or in senior facilities is an important aspect of this ministry. There is always a need to make people feel cared for.
Help is always needed to keep our church running smoothly, from office support to offering counters and building maintenance. If you’d like to help out let us know!
