Current and Upcoming Sermons
“SHINE: Authentic Faith” Series begins February 10.
The Bible talks a great deal about the power of light in familiar verses. Psalm 119 says, “Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” But much of the daily news makes it sound like a dark and fearful world. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus reminded us that we each have light to shine: “Let your light so shine that people may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” Dr. Gardner says, “When I was thirteen, I was given that Bible verse and it has been my anchor for all these years, calling me to shine my light.” In a world filled with uncertainty, we can learn to shine our light.

"Beauty for Ashes" Lenten Series begins March 10.
Our worship series leading up to Easter begins on Ash Wednesday, and focuses on the promise from Isaiah 61:3 that God brings ”beauty for ashes, gladness for tears and a spirit of praise instead of a downcast spirit.” Week after week, we will see how Jesus brought this promise to fulfillment from the very beginning of his ministry to ordinary people like us, and we will claim his healing power for today. Join us for “Beauty for Ashes” starting March 6 on Ash Wednesday and every Sunday of Lent.
